Based on American horror author Stephen King’s best-selling series of fantasy novels, The Dark Tower is currently ramping up production on the theatrical adaptation from director Nikolaj Arcel (who most notably co-wrote the screenplay for the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). The movie is set to feature a plot structure that will take viewers to an undetermined mid-point in the eight-volume series of novels (though a recent enigmatic posting from King himself may have revealed something big about Arcel’s shooting script).
