Bad Moms, the newest foray into wild adventure comedy from The Hangover writing duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, is all about taking down the matriarchy — or, at least, the most rigid and judgmental portions of it. The film centers on a trio of mothers who, thanks to a moment of utter exhaustion with being constantly criticized by the PTA queen bee at their kids’ school, team up to ditch the unattainable expectations cast upon them by other mothers and have a free-for-all filled with some long-overdue fun (and booze, of course).
