While the Ghostbusters reboot is at least on the path to a successful opening weekend, the film could still use all the help it can get to counter the internet’s negativity towards it. Just days ago, the new cover of the Ghostbusters theme was released by Fall Out Boy (featuring Missy Elliot, respectively), which only added fuel to the flames when it comes to this film. However, those standing by and hoping for the film’s success both financially and creatively at least have other areas of the internet to explore.
The original Ghostbusters theme by Ray Park Jr. is an iconic song due more to its association to the film and simplicity than its quality. It’s the song you’d expect from Huey Lewis and the News, but that’s just not how things played out. Cut to over twenty years later ...
