The CW recently revealed that another DC comic villain, Cyborg Superman, would be appearing in an upcoming episode of Supergirl titled ‘The Darkest Place.’ The official synopsis reveals that Kara (Melissa Benoist) will come face-to-face with the cybernetic enemy while trying to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood) from Cadmus.
Project Cadmus has been a steadily-growing presence on Supergirl, with several plotlines involving its mission to combat aliens by creating its own super-powered humans, often by any means necessary. The big twist of episode ‘Crossfire‘ revealed that the evil Cadmus scientist, who recently launched a campaign of fear by arming criminals with alien technology, was none other than Lena Luthor’s mother.
