[SPOILERS for those not caught up on Supergirl ahead.]

Many fans are excited for next week’s Supergirl because it will introduce The CW’s three-hour DCEU crossover event, “Invasion!” Next week’s episode, titled “Medusa”, will not focus on characters from Earth-1, however. Though Cisco and The Flash will make an appearance toward the end of s2E8, it mainly focuses on developing the ongoing Supergirl plot.
The current most pressing issues over on Supergirl’s earth include Alex’s internal struggle with her evolving identity, James and Winn’s secret teamwork on Guardian, and a reincarnated robo-Hank Henshaw called Cyborg Superman. It looks like Hank will continue to antagonize Kara and her friends next week, according to a sneak peek at the upcoming episode and its corresponding synopsis.
The synopsis for “Medusa,” according to Television Promos, is as follows:
