Ever since Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s 2007 hit Superbad, the comedy duo have continued to work and collaborate with another and produce hit after hit. Although the duo’s latest adventure, Preacher, just launched on AMC to much acclaim in May, their next major project is already on the way with their late-summer animated film release, Sausage Party.
Rogen stars in Sausage Party as Frank, but the animated film features an impressive cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, James Franco and Michael Cera. Rogen’s hot-dog character is the star, though, and Sony Pictures Entertainment released a new holiday-themed trailer centered around the hot dog who tries to fight back.
