If you’re a fan of flying hammerhead sharks landing jaws-open on innocent people’s heads, the upcoming SyFy movie, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, will excite you. One of the most ridiculous franchises in made-for-television film history is back again with more tornadoes, sharks, and of course, more B-list celebrity cameos.
Being the fourth entry in the (somehow) popular action disaster series, director Anthony C. Ferrante must be doing something right, even if it’s showing how far the “it’s so bad, it’s good” phenomenon can really take a property. It also saddens us to tell you that although star Tara Reid does get equipped with a lightsaber arm in this Sharknado trailer, the film itself has next to nothing in common with the franchise far, far away.
