The ever-busy Marvel Studios has just begun principal photography on Thor: Ragnarok, the third in the Norse-god/Avenger’s solo films. Director Taika Waititi (Hunt for the Wilderpeople) has insisted that Thor would finally be the most interesting character in his own movie. It appears he has his work cut out for him, as the film co-stars The Hulk and features more villains than you can shake a star-forged hammer at.
One of these villains will be Skurge a.k.a. The Executioner, the half-Asgardian/half-Frost Giant villain, who in the comics has commonly acted as the muscle for the will-bending Enchantress. It was recently confirmed that Karl Urban (Star Trek Beyond) would be filling the role of the powerful foe.
