Suicide Squad, the next film in the DC Extended Universe, hits theaters in a little less than a month and the big marketing push for the film is in full swing. In the highly anticipated movie, written and directed by David Ayer, a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) recruits a motley crew of imprisoned super-villains to embark on a highly dangerous black ops mission in exchange for clemency.
The newest trailer above, which debuted at the ESPY Awards, shows us the same bits of mind-blowing action, featuring new footage of Katana (Karen Fukuhara) in all her sword-wielding glory. We catch a glimpse of her glimmering one-sided sword as she’s about to behead a very unlucky person after she leaps down from the sky. Fukuhara herself is trained in martial arts and is said to have done most of her own stunts.
