As the superhero genre continues its box office dominance, franchises that have taken risks with crazy twists on the standard formula have been rewarded greatly. There’s no better example of this than Deadpool, whose R-rated, but still playfully immature sense of humor scored 20th Century Fox their biggest box office win yet for an X-Men film.
