The Attack on Titan anime, based on Hajime Isayama’s manga series about humans fighting for survival against a race of nearly-unstoppable giants, first aired in 2013, and fans have been waiting for the show’s second season ever since it was announced back in 2014. The new season was supposed to air in 2016, which seemed like a long time to go without some Attack on Titan goodness. It was made even worse when the news broke in May that the show’s second season was likely going to miss that 2016 premiere.
